If you use the contact form, we collect the name, email address and message you provide. If you subscribe to our mailing list, we collect your email address. We also collect basic aggregated analytics about site usage. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking.

Why we collect it

To respond to you, to send occasional updates if you have asked for them, and to understand how the site is used. The legal basis is your consent, or our legitimate interest in operating the site.

Who sees it

Our website is hosted by Framer B.V., which processes data on our behalf. Mailing list data is handled by our email provider. We do not sell your data and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. Where providers operate outside Switzerland and the EU, transfers are covered by standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle them and a reasonable period afterwards. Mailing list data is kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You may request access, correction or deletion of your data, object to processing, or withdraw consent at any time. Write to hello@monteyama.com. You may also complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, or your local supervisory authority.
